Special Activities

We try to involve our children and youth in all aspects of church life. They can participate in Communion the first Sunday in October, World Communion Sunday. Our Sunday School classes take turns Greeting the first Sunday of each month during the school year. Children are also invited to participate in numerous choirs and present the Christmas Story to the congregation each Advent Season as well as help with coffee hour.

Confirmation Classes are conducted for youth in 8th grade or anyone older who has not been confirmed. The classes are scheduled for a number of weeks and those participating explore the meaning of their baptism and membership in the church as well as how the Presbyterian Church is organized and our history, what it means to be a good steward and what it means to be a Christian. Those completing the classes are confirmed during the worship service on Pentecost.
