Summer Sunday School
Posted July 1st, 2009 by adminSummer time is a wonderful time for families to spend quality time with each other. Why not make coming to church this summer part of that quality time. The First Presbyterian Church opens its doors for a 10:00 am service each Sunday morning. To make that time even more meaningful for children, a special time just for kids will be offered. This year’s Summer Sunday School is going to be lots of fun and also good to eat! Using ideas from the book Food Fun Devotions children will make popcorn balls that look like earth while they talk about creation; make peanut butter modeling dough as they discuss what it means to be the “work of God’s hands”; make Pharaoh’s fruit chariot while talking about how God parted the Red Sea and how He will take care of us in our difficult situations.
All are welcome. Dress is casual and a fully staffed nursery is available.
If you are looking for an open and friendly place to celebrate Summer, please join us the Cazenovia Presbyterian Church.
