Let’s Dance…Contradance!

Are you ready to kick up your heels and have a ball? Well then save this date: Nov. 8, 7:30-9:30 p.m. for a Contradance in the Meeting House!

What is a contradance? (Beyond just about the most fun you’ve ever had!)

Contradancing is in many ways like old time square dancing ~ but done in lines. A fiddler and various other instruments play lively English and American tunes while the caller teaches the various dances, telling you everything you need to know (no classes are necessary). The dances are done with a smooth, easy~walking step, so couples (as well as singles) ages 7 to 70+ can reel, waltz and dance the night away.

It’s fun for the whole family, but if you need nursery care, it will be provided.

Donations accepted…and if you’d like to bring a snack to pass, that would be appreciated as well. Questions? Contact the church office. And if this is new to you…well, be ready to laugh a lot!
