Save your plastic bottle caps

The Cazenovia Garden Club is spearheading a new recycling effort to take one more item out of the trash generated by our friends, families and co-workers. Any hard, plastic bottle caps, those that are threaded and non-bendable, such as on water, soda, detergent and shampoo containers can be collected and taken to any Matthew’s Salon to be sent to Aveda Salon Products to be turned into new containers for their products. Madison County Landfills consider plastic caps to be trash, so it is worth doing something to reuse this commodity now that an outlet is available. Matthew’s Salon Spa, owned by Matthew Dydo, is located at 5 Lincklaen Street, Cazenovia, and is very supportive of this project.
