This year’s conference is November 4 & 5 at Rochester Blue Cross Arena, and you are invited to join our group.  This year’s speakers are Sheila Walsh, Luci Swindoll, Lisa Harper, Angie Smith and special guest Henry Cloud.  Musical guests are Mary Mary and Natalie Grant, plus drama performed by Nicole Johnson.

We plan to travel as a group, but that is not necessary for everyone. We also have hotel accommodations. You can learn more at http://www.womenoffaith.com.  To join the group, contact the church office.

To kick off the holiday season. The Women’s Association will be holding our annual “Soup and Dessert Café” during the Cazenovia Christmas Walk on Friday, December 3rd.

Elizabeth Koennecke will be chairperson for this annual event. During the month of November, there will be sign up sheets during coffee hour for items needed to make this event a success.

Included will be:

  • Soups of all kinds
  • Loafs of different types of breads
  • Coffee and creamer
  • Desserts: cookies, cakes, pies
  • Volunteers to work in the kitchen
  • Volunteers to work as cashiers

Monies raised through this fundraiser are used to support our scholarship fund. We have been fortunate to give two scholarships each year of the last four years to graduating seniors from our church. Everyone is welcome to come out and support this annual event.

Start thinking about what kind of soup you would like to make and donate for the Soup Cafe. Also we will need homemade baked goods, so get your cookbooks out and ready to start baking! Volunteers are needed to work in the cafe. Contact the church office for more information.

There is a group of ladies going and we have two extra tickets for the conference AND a hotel room for two for Friday night June 5th in downtown Rochester (right up the street from the convention center!)
