The 60th Annual National Day of Prayer will take place Thursday, May 5, 2011. Millions will unite in prayer at thousands of events from coast to coast. The theme is based on the verse from Psalm 91:2 which states: “I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

The sanctuary of the First Presbyterian Church of Cazenovia will be open for prayer on Thursday May 5th 2011 from 8am until 6 pm. Please set aside seven minutes to pray for the Seven Centers of Power: government, military, media, business, education, church and family. Pray for renewal in our hearts and repentance to come to America. May God bless America.

The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. The 58th Annual National Day of Prayer will take place Thursday, May 7, 2009. Millions will unite in prayer as thousands of events will take place from coast to coast. The theme for this year is “Prayer… America’s Hope” and is based on the verse from Psalm 33:22 which states: “May your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord, even as we put our hope in you.”

The sanctuary will be open for quiet meditation and prayer from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
